Meet our Founders

Founders Goldi Miller and Myra Mouloudji with CEO Mark Miller

Goldi Miller has been a devotee of all things retail frequenting the shops, boutiques and salons from a young age. In order to follow her passion for fashion, she studied Retail Management at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While still a student, Goldi opened the first of her Goldi’s boutiques, offering high-end women’s shoes, accessories, and apparel. Her retail success expanded into several locations including a store on Chicago’s Miracle Mile.

Myra’s creativity and love of design inspired her to move to Paris upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She traveled Europe for 10 years with her Parisian husband and worked as a theatrical agent. Her travels deepened her love of: fashion, runways shows, couture design, and art. Myra returned to the U.S. to help her sister Goldi grow their entrepreneurial company, in accounting, merchandising and sales.

While running this rapidly expanding operation, Goldi and her sister Myra began to explore their shared love of creativity and hands-on creation through crafts. They developed do-it-yourself beading kits that included all the materials to create beautiful quality accessories of one’s own. They traveled adventurously selling their kits at craft shows and events nationwide.

During that time, they met a very special little girl that used the bead kits to start her own small business selling the bracelets and dreamed about a career as a jewelry designer. Inspired by the girls story, Goldi & Myra set out to create additional products that would encourage tween girls to explore their imaginations and to find their wings in life.
